In the Betuwe, in the birthplace of Flipje, in a quiet street within walking distance of the town centre and station, in an attractive house from the thirties you will find "Stadslogement Tiel. On the first floor there are two hospitable double rooms,with a luxury bathroom for common use. In the morning you will be served a delicious breakfast in the breakfast room. 

In the centre of Tiel you can shop, visit pavement cafes, or just go to a theathre or cinema. On the square of Tiel, you"ll find several cafes and restaurants. For art and culture lovers there is the history of Tiel in the City Archives,an art exhibition in the Agnietenhof, and of course the Flipje & Jam (marmelade) museum.
Do you prefer peace and nature, You can discover the region through attractive routes on foot or bike just outside Tiel.
 
Special events that you should not miss in this region are the yearly Blossem tours in April/May, and the Fruit Corso (fruitparade) and Appelpop the second weekend of September.
